Jenna Romanelli is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Strength and Human Performance program at Parker University where she teaches nutrition and exercise science-related courses. She also serves as the Internship Coordinator for the Strength and Conditioning Internship option available to undergraduate and graduate students.
As a Registered Dietitian, licensed in both Florida and Texas, Jenna works with a variety of patient populations at Synapse:Human Performance Centers and within her private practice, Nelli Nutrition, LLC. She uses an individualized approach through client-centered counseling, medical nutrition therapy, and nutrition education to achieve optimal nutrition and improve quality of life. Jenna has a special interest in sports nutrition, injury rehabilitation, and athletic performance. She has experience working with elite athletes as both a dietitian and strength coach.
Jenna earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University, where she played collegiate volleyball. She went on to pursue a career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, training college athletes at Valdosta State University, while completing a Masters of Education in Health and Physical Education. Jenna continued her coaching career at Furman University and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette before returning to school to pursue a Master’s of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. In 2019, she began her career as a Registered Dietitian, providing inpatient and outpatient nutrition care in a hospital setting.
Jenna lives in Lighthouse Point, Florida, within a couple miles of her entire (large) Italian family and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She is the youngest of three girls and the proud Auntie to four nephews and two nieces, who are the absolute best part of her day(s)!
